Data Foundation. Agentic AI. In that order.

On 22 September 2026, KPC and Informatica were at the Salon de la Data & de l'IA in Nantes, around one running theme: no agentic AI without a Data Foundation.
At the Cité des Congrès in Nantes, on stand no. 27 and across two sessions, KPC and Informatica shared their approach: building the Data Foundation that makes agentic AI reliable, traceable and ready to industrialize. Both sessions are available as replays.
Data Foundation, agentic AI: in that order
Companies are launching agentic AI projects on data foundations that are neither governed, nor documented, nor traced. While data only fed dashboards, approximation was absorbable: an analyst would correct it, a business user would cross-check. With an agent, approximation becomes an automated decision, carried out with no human judgment.
Three convictions KPC and Informatica brought to Nantes:
An agent is only as good as its data. Governance stops being a compliance requirement and becomes a condition for execution.
Process before agent. An agent executes a process. If the process is not written down, the agent improvises: the convergence of Data & Process is what separates a POC from a rollout.
The Data Foundation, built in parallel. It is built use case by use case, alongside the agentic work, not as an eighteen-month programme that has to come first.
Panel: agentic AI, good practice and the Restalliance group's client story
Agentic AI projects rarely run into trouble with the model. They run into trouble with the foundation: unqualified data, missing lineage, unclear access rights, business processes that were never written down.
This panel looks back on the first uses of agentic AI built on a Data Platform: the use cases, the methods, the tools involved, and also the costs and the ROI.

Informatica & KPC workshop: when AI looks after your data and your customers
A demonstration of the Informatica IDMC platform (Intelligent Data Management Cloud), in two parts:
an AI Agent stepping in for intuitive, automated data quality remediation;
the Headless 360 approach, bringing reference Master Data as close as possible to the users' context.
Demo hosted by Chi Chai Ung, Account Solution Engineer, Informatica from Salesforce.
Interview: why KPC supports the Salon de la Data & de l'IA in Nantes
KPC, a data and digital consulting and integration firm, supports the show for two reasons: its Nantes office and its commitment to the region, and data, the group's core business for 15 years.
In this interview, KPC looks back on the subjects its clients and partners bring to it: data platforms, data quality and ingestion, semantics, governance and data management. And on what takes a POC into production: a data product approach and a data office owned inside the organization.
Assessing your Data Foundation
To go further, KPC offers a Data Foundation × agentic AI macro-framing workshop: half a day, on site, to assess how mature your foundation is against the agentic use cases you have in mind.
